Monday, June 28, 2010, was a wonderful family home evening for the Kays Ward. We had a great opportunity to do a much-needed service project, Helping Haitian Homemakers. Under the direction of our stake, Relief Society presidency, in particular Amelia Toone, and humanitarian leader, Kim Finlinson, our ward assembled kitchen buckets to send to Haiti. It was a humbling experience to see that all who receive these buckets and their contents will have their lives improved tremendously. We are so blessed and so grateful for the ability to give and to serve. Thank you to our stake for providing the project. Thank you to our Relief Society for providing the organization and thank you to our wonderful ward members for donating money and time for this gift to our fellow brothers and sisters in Haiti.
